DOCTORBARI SOCIAL WELFARE FOUNDATION (DSWF) is a national non government organizations established in 2008, has been working in the field of development in different parts of Bangladesh. DSWF is also non-political, non-profitable , and one of the leading organizations in Bangladesh. In Bangladesh DSWF have appeared as the savior of countless number of the people without food, cloth, education, and basic health facilities. Bangladesh is one of the top underprivileged countries. With the record of being the most densely populated country on earth and feeble manpower competency, Bangladesh is facing massive challenge to meet up the demand of her ever-increasing population. Although agriculture sector is the main source of income for this rural agro based country, unfortunately this sector has completely failed to create rewarding employment opportunity for the landless. Considering this overall situations the DSWF are working on proverty eradication by directly involving the education, food on the poverty stricken population since 2008.Working not only for poverty alleviation through providing resources but also promoting human rights, education, health services, working and supporting for autistic children, poor and vulnerable people and establishing good governance and rule of law in the society. The formation of this voluntary, charitable, relief and development organization had its root in Dhaka when the country was hit by the worst famine in recent history and a group of students of Dhaka tejgoan collage and later of Dhaka University started a movement titled "education and food at one taka" which relentlessly worked to mitigate the sufferings of the famine stricken people. In January, 2008 the movement was given an organizational shape in Dhaka under the name of Aparup Bangladesh which was subsequently renamed DOCTORBARI SOCIAL WELFARE FOUNDATION (DSWF).
